Nancy felt the stress of burnout while having more to contribute than she had the capacity to deliver. A Path to Sovereign Leadership
Nancy's foundation was built in North Dakota, where she grew up as one of four children in a family that valued hard work, independence, sovereignty, and the freedom to think for herself. From the time she was five, her father asked her and her three siblings: "What is your goal, and how are you going to get there?" That question shaped how Nancy approached everything that followed — school, gymnastics, Girl Scouts, and eventually to become president of the Aviation Explorers Club, which led her to earn her pilot's license at nineteen. She was the youngest student, and the only female, to fly solo in North Dakota.
That early foundation of freedom and self-direction carried Nancy into a fifteen-year career as a corporate healthcare and consumer products executive, where she built results, led teams, and reached a level of achievement that fulfilled her goals while working in corporate. She was called to do something different, creating a business that delivered the kind of impact and freedom she envisioned for herself and others.
Achievement was never the whole picture for Nancy. Family, freedom, and personal growth have always mattered more to her than any title, and each stage of her career reflects that. When the standard corporate model stopped supporting the life and impact she wanted to build, she left it to build something of her own.
What she built centers on the concept of sovereign leadership. Sovereignty, to Nancy, means leading from an internal foundation of self-knowledge and intuition, rather than from external validation or approval. It asks a leader to trust their own inner guidance as much as, or more than, the data, opinions, and models around them. A sovereign leader isn't living by the expectations of others. They're building a foundation solid enough that every milestone they seek becomes possible without sacrificing what matters most along the way.
Dynamic vision is what the sovereign leader uses to guide his efforts. Intuition is the tool that fuels it, and is the access point for a higher level of perception and feeling, or higher consciousness, and the clearest guide a leader has for navigating complexity, uncertainty, and growth. Developing that higher level of awareness isn't an add-on to leadership. It's the foundation that shapes the vision through which a leader imagines, how boldly they decide, and how fully they grow.
Nancy has spent decades investing in her own development — coaches, masterminds, seminars, books, and every tool available to a committed lifelong learner. Each one brought real, incremental growth.
