The Joy-Effect Payment Policy - Jan. 13, 2025

A) Payment Options

  • Payment for all programs and services provided directly by The Joy-Effect can be paid for with any of the following options that work in the client’s respective country.

Country Specific

  1. Zelle: US only- Nancy Clairmont Carr (for 1-to-1 or group coaching clients only)
  2. PayPal: All countries-Actual cost in US$ plus 5% to cover PayPal charge
                  (Except for Free 30-minute consult- no additional 5%)
  3. Wiring: All countries-Request instructions

B) Terms of Payment
All payments are due as follows unless stated differently by contract or permission by Nancy Clairmont Carr in writing

  1. Coaching and Consulting -due day of service
  2. Groups- due day of service, monthly or annually as indicated online or via application- group specific due dates
  3. Courses- as indicated online- purchase before receiving
  4. Speaking engagements- as agreed to via contract
  5. Books - directly from Amazon
  6. Additional online Joy-Effect resources- as indicated online

C) Cancellations and Rescheduling for scheduled coaching sessions

  • All personal appointments need a minimum of 48-hour cancellation and/or rescheduling. Failure to provide the 48-hour notice will result in being billed automatically for a minimum of 90 minutes, or the full scheduled time, whichever is greater.
  • All contracted or group program payments are final.
  • Failure for client/organization to follow the payment policies identified here will risk future opportunities to work with Nancy Clairmont Carr and The Joy-Effect.

D) Free 30-Minute consult reservation fee and full refund program.

  • We welcome your appointment to discuss information about fit between you and The Joy-Effect programs. Solicitors are not allowed to use this service.
  • To secure a free 30-minute consult with Nancy Clairmont Carr, you will need to reserve your appointment with a fully refundable $50 reservation fee via PayPal to Nancy Clairmont Carr.
  • When Nancy Clairmont Carr tries to reach you at the scheduled appointment time and you answer and fulfill the consult, she will Venmo the $50 to you immediately upon completion of the call.
  • •If you need to reschedule or cancel the scheduled appointment, it must be done 48 hours before the scheduled appointment to get a refund.
  • •If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment, there will be no refund.
